Rivera Building
The intervention in this residential building, located in the center of the town of Alicante, aims to improve its accessibility since it had a first flight of stairs that made the use of the elevator difficult. On the occasion of this operation, a complete transformation of the building’s access and its ground floor facade has been carried out, rearranging the space and enhancing its architectural qualities. With a simple gesture, the building’s access is configured while the mailboxes and electrical installations (C.G.P. and meters) are relocated using a metal element as a cabinet.
The curved geometry of the building’s access has been another key element in the generation of the project. The breakdown of the pavements, the texture of the vinyl material used in the vertical cladding, as well as the proposed artificial lighting, aim to reinforce the particular geometry of this space.
